1) What's on your bedside table?
--Blue scarab lamp from Disney's Aladdin (the lamp shade glows in the dark, very neato)
--32oz hospital mug (free with baby!), full of water
--Set of massage balls
--Two decks of cards
--Blue stuffed elephant named Edmund that plays "You Are My Sunshine" (used for glasses prop at night)
--Phone/answering machine
--Cell phone
--Black Scunci
--Baby powder
--Can of compressed air
--Thermometer
--Meds (Knocked off by cat)
--Using HTML 3.2 (To look up tag for strikethrough after cat knocked meds to floor)

2) What's the geekiest part of your music collection?
I'd have to say the entire collected works of Al Stewart.
3) What do you eat when you raid the fridge at night?
If there's no leftover Chinese or pizza, then it's oranges, crackers, or cereal.
4) What is your secret "guaranteed weeping" film?
The Color Purple
5) If you could have plastic surgery, what would you have done?
That depends. If it's basic cosmetic surgery, I can't really think of anything. But if we're talking sophisticated body alterations, I've always wanted prehensile toes.
6) Do you have a completely irrational fear? if so, of what?
Jordan almonds. When I was young and apparently impressionable I read the Nero Wolfe mystery The Red Box in which a woman was poisoned by a Jordan almond. Always avoided them ever since.
7) What is the little physical habit that gives away your insecure moments?
Gosh. I have no idea.
8) Do you ever have to beg?
Not really. I prefer to either ask politely or issue direct orders.
9) Do you have too many love interests?
No so's I've ever noticed.
10) Do you know anyone famous?
No.
11) Describe your bed.
Full-sized dark pine cannonball bed with about 14" of clearance off the floor (storage!). I've had the same linens for about a decade--I think they're called Madrid or something by Spring Maid--and they're maroon and dark green. (I was amused to note that Victor Mansfield has the same ones on his bed in Once a Thief.) Also have three different Tempur-pedic pillows. If I ever win the lottery, I'm going to test-drive one of those Tempur-pedic mattresses.

Plan.
13) Who should play you in a movie about your life?
I'd always hoped for the godmother in Disney's Cinderella. Failing that, I'll take Cathy Bates.
14) Do you know how to play poker?
Yes. Badly.
15) Do you like to color?
Some. Depends on if I happen across a neat coloring book.
16) How do you drive?
Carefully and with observance of the rules of the road (most of them, anyway. Especially speed limits), but not timidly.
17) What do you miss most about being little?
My grandparents.
18) Are you happy with your given name?
Yes.
19) What was the last song you were listening to?
On purpose? Wow, that was probably weeks ago. I'm guessing something from Dead Can Dance, likely from Passages In Time or Spiritchaser.
20) Have you ever been in a school play?
Yes. Kindergarten. I was four. I played an angel.
22) Do you like yourself and believe in yourself?
Yep.
23) Have you ever done any illegal drugs?
Um, I take the Fifth on the grounds of being young and reckless exactly once in my life.

Ha! No. :)
25) Do you consider yourself to be a nice person?
Depends. I think I'm nice to my friends and people I care about, and I try to be polite and courteous and so on to everyone else, but I'm not sure where I scale on Cosmic Niceness.
