Attendance Record
Apr. 16th, 2006 08:03 pmWell, the family has maintained its perfect record. We have missed every single important organized holiday this year, with the exception of Rosh Hashannah, which only half counts because I didn't make it the second day.
Our record for Passover was particularly impressive, I have to say. The other holidays were missed because of little things like vomiting, food allergies, and arthritis, but we missed Boo's school's model seder because of the previously mentioned tornado incident, and we missed the first night seder on Wednesday because I was in the emergency room with a fever of 105.7. (Which, I will hasten to add, was recorded at a much-less-scary 103.2 by the time I got a bed in the ER, and was ultimately diagnosed as plain ol' flu. Still, I didn't even feel like knitting until yesterday, if that says anything.)
Speaking of knitting, I was going to bring over my newest lace baby hat to Saturday gaming to show off to everyone who hadn't seen it (all two of you, I think), but now I can simply point you to the Threaded Bliss blog, which has pictures! And if you scroll down a ways, there's also a picture of one of the infamous Dr. Who scarves.
Anyway, I missed everyone over the weekend. I sincerely hope to be making all my usual appearances this week. *crosses fingers*
